As ESPN.com's Kevin Seifert suggest, it doesn't get much more direct than that. But Seifert was quick to suggest Favre's response won't create so much as a ripple in speculation that he might play -- perhaps for Minnesota -- in 2009. As noted in a previous item, SI.com insider Peter King has been told Favre has the "urge" to return. We'll also remind you that previous denials -- those made this time last year for example -- turned out to be meaningless. ... And the drama will continue.
