The Facts:
Following up on Favre-Watch 09. ... Vikings HC Brad Childress admitted Friday that the subject of Favre was going to come up and in reality I’m sure some at Winter Park already have discussed the issue. In fact, word is that Favre and Vikings offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell have spoken since Favre was released by the Jets early in the week.

So reports Star-Tribune beat writer Judd Zulgad, who it should be noted, went on to stress that Favre and Bevell have been good friends since Bevell served as the Packers’ quarterbacks coach from 2003-05. Zulgad added it also makes sense that Bevell and Favre would have talked after the Jets released Favre from their reserve/retired list, considering that any conversations had after that point could not be considered tampering in any way. ... All this on the heels of a New York Daily News report in which columnist Gary Myers lays out
a pretty convincing case regarding Favre's likely (and in Myers' opinion almost certain) return as a Viking.
