Giants Expected To Look Into Anquan Boldin
(4/16 6:55 PT)

The Facts:
Following up on a previous item. ... The Cardinals said Wednesday that they are willing to listen to offers for Boldin and "a few" teams have already called, Cards HC Ken Whisenhunt said. It wasn't immediately known if the Giants were one of those teams, but several NFL sources expect them to at least explore the option.  Reported by the New Orleans Times-Picayune

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Giants GM Jerry Reese has already twice opened talks with the Browns about trading for Braylon Edwards, and obviously receiver has become a huge need since the team released Plaxico Burress on April 3. But like Edwards, Boldin could be expensive. The Cardinals would likely ask for at least as much as the Lions got for Roy Williams last season (a first-, third- and sixth-round pick). Boldin, meanwhile, is seeking a new deal worth at least $10 million per year. ... For what it's worth, Newark Star-Ledger staffer Mike Garafolo advised readers this morning that the Giants view Boldin as more of a No. 2 guy than a No. 1 -- but they are still higher on Boldin than Braylon Edwards.
