According to Santa Rosa Press-Democrat staffer Matt Maiocco, the 49ers had a private jet waiting for Warner and his wife Brenda in Arizona, and the Warners arrived in San Jose this morning. The Warners took a limo 6.2 miles to the 49ers' team offices in Santa Clara. ... As Maiocco summed up: "Clearly, the 49ers are serious about signing Warner to a contract." The real question is whether the unrestricted free agent is as serious about leaving the Cardinals or if the Niners are essentially assisting Warner's negotiations in Arizona.
