The Texans are meeting with Ramsey, who's a candidate to replace Sage Rosenfels, who was traded to Minnesota for a fourth-round draft choice.

Ramsey has started one game in the last four seasons. In 2007, the Texans tried and failed to sign Ramsey, who chose Denver instead. He spent the last two years with the Broncos. He attempted only three passes last season and completed two. Ramsey played for the New York Jets in 2006. He spent his first four seasons with Washington. The Redskins drafted him in the first round in 2002.
