The Facts:
Brady made a charity appearance today and answered questions for more than 12 minutes in his most expansive comments since his knee injury. Brady indicated that his recovery remains on schedule and he sees no reason why he won't be ready for the Patriots' season opener.

“I’m feeling great. I’m feeling really good. Everything is progressing just as I expected," Brady said. Brady was then asked if he was throwing at this point. “Oh yeah,” he said. Brady was asked if he could forecast if he’ll be ready for mini-camps, training camps or the home opener. “You know, Bill [Belichick] never likes us to forecast anything. It’s like me asking you guys ‘are you going to be doing your job in eight months?’ Yeah, you certainly think so. There is no reason why I shouldn’t,” he said.
