LaMont Jordan In No Hurry To Leave Pats
(12/31 10:48 PT)

The Facts:
Jordan, who is an unrestricted free agent, dearly would love to come back and play for HC Bill Belichick again. He understands the Pats might move in another direction, the 30-year-old would like to be back. “I’m excited about the possibilities,” Jordan said. “Hopefully they’ll want me back, but I know it’s a business and it could go either way.” Reported by the Boston Herald

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Jordan started off the season well, taking on the role of a back used mostly in the second half of games to punish and wear down defenses. But he injured his calf on Oct. 5 at San Francisco, missed eight weeks and was unable to return until the December stretch run. He closed with a flurry, scoring four touchdowns in the final three games.
