The Facts:
The Bucs have until Wednesday to make a decision on whether to activate Williams, but it seems the decision has already been made. Williams has responded well to the contact drills the Bucs put him through the past couple weeks and it seems he will be added to the 53-man roster Wednesday. “If my eyes don’t deceive me, I think he’s got a chance to be a player this year for our team," HC Jon Gruden said today.

The timing couldn’t be better. The Bucs are a little banged up in the backfield, with Warrick Dunn (back) and Earnest Graham (knee) both ailing. Dunn and Graham should be ready to go by Sunday’s game against the Vikings, though, which means Williams probably will be eased back into action. Gruden even went so far as to say Williams is not ready to be a feature back again. Still, getting Williams back could give the Bucs a boost. “It’s inspirational," LB Derrick Brooks said.
