Romo hurt the pinkie on his throwing hand during an overtime loss to the Cardinals in Week 6. Since then, the Cowboys have gone 1-2 with Brad Johnson as the starting quarterback. In last week’s humbling 35-14 loss to the Giants, Johnson — who had thrown two interceptions — was replaced by Brooks Bollinger. ... Jones is still recovering from a hamstring injury suffered in the Week 6 loss to the Cardinals. Phillips was hopeful last week that Jones could return to practice this week.
