The Facts:
When he was introduced Sept. 30 as Scott Linehan's successor, Jim Haslett made clear his preference at quarterback. "(Bulger) is going to be the quarterback," Haslett said, "and he will be the starting quarterback for the rest of the year unless something happens." Well, something happened Sunday. And now, Haslett's choice at quarterback is anything but clear. "I don't know yet," he said. "I haven't decided anything on anybody yet."

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
What happened of course, is the Rams went belly-up, humiliated by the New York Jets 47-3. Trent Green replaced Bulger after the Rams fell behind 40-0 at intermission. Bulger earned a 29.3 passer rating by completing six of 13 tosses for 65 yards and throwing an interception. "We're not getting it done on offense, and that falls on the quarterback," he said. "Whether I have to throw it 60 times next week or 20 or back up (Green), if it'll help our team win, I'm willing to take that role. I'll back Coach Haslett a hundred percent, whatever he decides to do. ..." Stay tuned. Bulger certainly wasn't the only problem. But that doesn't mean he won't get benched.
