So much for Culpepper’s first start in Detroit. HC Rod Marinelli has pulled him in favor of Drew Stanton late in today's game against the Jaguars.

Culpepper was 5 of 10 for 104 yards with no touchdowns and an interception in the contest. Stanton had tossed a touchdown pass during a brief first-half appearance near the goal line. ... Don't rule out the possibility that the plan going in was to play both men. After all, the Lions need to see what they have in Stanton at some point and the fourth quarter of a blowout is as good a time as any.
