According to ESPNews, an MRI has confirmed that Schaub suffered a torn MCL in Sunday's loss to the Vikings. He is expected to miss at least a month due to the injury.

Sage Rosenfels takes over as the starter in Schaub's absence and the Texans could do much worse. And whether he can lead the Texans to victory on a consistent basis, Fantasy owners can at least hold out hope he's as capable of getting the ball to the team's top receiving threats, Andre Johnson, Kevin Walter and Owen Daniels, as Schaub. Indeed, Schaub's success in doing just that notwithstanding, there have been observers who still considered Rosenfels just as solid an option for Houston.
