Following up on a previous item. ... Pittman left the game in the first half after he aggravated a stinger in his neck, first suffered against New England on Oct. 20. He had 4 yards on seven carries against Miami. "I tried to stay in there as long as I could, but I kept getting stingers left and right," Pittman said.

Pittman had an X-ray at Invesco Field on Sunday and will get an MRI on his neck today. We'll have more on his status in coming days but again, look for the team to accelerate Ryan Torain's preparation in advance of Thursday's game against the Browns. Torain had just 1 yard on three carries in his first NFL game after spending three months rehabbing an elbow injury suffered in training camp.
