According to HC Mike Tomlin, Mendenhall suffered a fractured shoulder in tonight's win over the Ravens and will be placed on season-ending IR.

The Steelers first-round pick in April's draft, Mendenhall's first pro start will be his last game of the year. ... Look for Mewelde Moore to play a greater role -- certainly until Willie Parker returns from a sprained knee, most likely after the team's Week 6 bye. Tomlin also said the team would look to bring some outside help in at the position as quickly as possible.
