John Clayton of ESPN reports that Raiders owner Al Davis is having individual meetings this evening with three Raiders assistant coaches: Offensive coordinator Greg Knapp, offensive line coach Tom Cable and special projects assistant Paul Hackett. The meetings are seen as a precursor to Kiffin's dismissal.

Chris Mortensen of ESPN reports that Kiffin said Davis hadn't told him about the meetings. ... As PFT's Michael David Smith notes, it seems like we've been hearing that Kiffin's firing is imminent. Maybe the news that Davis is meeting with members of Kiffin's staff -- without Kiffin's knowledge -- is a sign that Davis is close to pulling the trigger.
