Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
With a $6.4 million salary cap number, the Raiders save $3.3 million against the cap by releasing Jordan. He was scheduled to make $4.7 million this season and $5 million next season. The Raiders will be charged $1.4 million in pro-rated bonus money in each of the next two years. The Raiders wanted to trade Jordan, locking him out of off-season workouts and training camp, but apparently found no takers.
