The Facts:
Appearing at Lambeau Field for the Packers Hall of Fame media conference in which Favre introduced teammate, friend and inductee Frank Winters, the veteran QB stuck with the topic at hand. "I was honored when [Winters] asked me to do this, as well as being here with Gilbert [Brown] and Al [Treml]," Favre said. "That’s the thing about Green Bay -- it's a special place, there's a lot of tradition. When you think of the Packers, you think of all these great names, and to be a part of that -- I know Frank feels honored -- is a special thing. And I’m thankful that he asked me to be here."

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Favre -- currently embroiled in a bit of a controversy (see
profile) with the current Packers' regime if you hadn't noticed -- didn't take questions during the news conference. Winters said he wasn't concerned about Favre showing up. "I don't think it's awkward. I'm sure there are a lot of people who would like to ask him a lot of questions," but it's a night for honoring the three inductees. And Favre did nothing to change that.
