The Facts:
Even as Johnson continues to
increase the rhetoric regarding his desire to be traded to a new team, and his intention not to report for mandatory offseason training camps and/or training camp, we continue to hear that the team will not trade him. Of course, that doesn't stop another team from making them an offer. But we're also hearing that no one is interested in acquiring Johnson.

As as PFT's Mike Florio asked: "Why would they be? With each word that rambles out of his mouth in his effort to be traded, he makes himself less desirable to any other team." Florio went on to suggest that Johnson has become "a cartoon character who also happens to play football. ..." While we have a hard time disagreeing with Florio's take, another prominent wideout, Terrell Owens, has found success in Dallas after essentially talking his way out of Philadelphia. So, should the Bengals ultimately tire of Johnson's antics, it's hardly a reach to expect somebody to take a chance on 85. ... Stay tuned.
