As Profootballtalk.com's Mike Florio suggests, it's good that the Ravens knew about McNair's plans before the draft but it would have been better for the team to keep things quiet until after the draft, so that other teams wouldn't suspect that the Ravens are hot for any of the quarterback prospects. Matt Ryan is the top quarterback prospect available in this year's incoming class. With Kyle Boller and Troy Smith now sitting in the No. 1 and 2 spots, respectively, the Ravens will obviously be considering all options very carefully.
