There are some rumors out there concerning Williams and potential trades, including to the Eagles and Bills. Don't believe it. ... According to Booth Newspapers beat writer Tom Kowalski, the rumors concerning Williams are off base.

Kowalski believes the chances of Williams being traded are about one percent. Kowalski added that if somebody offers the Lions an unbelievable blockbuster of a trade, they'll obviously listen but that's not likely to happen. (And, Kowalski notes, J.P. Losman and Lee Evans does not qualify as a blockbuster.) Rumors of Williams getting traded might increase in the off-season but the odds of it actually happening will not.
