The Facts:
The team announced Saturday that Davis has been placed on the training camp physically unable to perform list. "Drew felt some discomfort in his foot at the end of minicamp," HC Mike Smith told the team's official website. "We decided to send him to the doctors for some evaluations and it was determined he had suffered an injury that would require a procedure. He recently had the procedure done and we expect him to miss around six weeks, which is why we have decided to place him on Training Camp PUP."

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Davis caught 12 passes for 216 yards and two scores last season while playing a key role on special teams. With Julio Jones, Roddy White and last year's breakout performer, Harry Douglas, on the roster, Atlanta has more than enough talent to fill the position. Entering his third season, the undrafted Davis still remains a B bet to make the Falcons' roster for what he offers as a special-teamer. If the timetable sticks, look for him to return to the mix about three weeks into camp.
