Tom Brady Has Some Advice For Teammates
(7/3 12:57 PT)

The Facts:
The offseason program is finished. No more organized team activities and no more mini-camp. For the next month, players around the NFL are free to do what they want with their time. But whether they put these days to good use or not is up to them. Last week at Gillette Stadium, Brady warned that those who spend too much time in the sun come this time could easily fall behind when players report to training camp on July 23. "I think we really had our vacation. I think that part’s over,” Brady said.  Reported by the Providence Journal

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
The veteran signal caller continued: "It’s really a time to start accelerating your preparation because you’ve got a lot of time to basically know what you need to improve on. Maybe it’s conditioning or any particular aspect of your game that you really need to work on that showed up in this particular camp, and you’ve got five weeks to work on it, make it better so you come into camp at the most important time, really at your best.” The real test starts on July 23 when the team reports for training camp. But, as Brady said, players can’t just bask in the sun during the upcoming early summer days of July. They have to prepare. The Patriots’ season depends on it. Some fantasy football seasons will as well.
