The Facts:
According to Journal-Constitution staffer D. Orlando Ledbetter, Freeman is a keeper. He caught the ball with his hands and showed a great burst of speed. “Devonta is a fast and quick guy,” HC Mike Smith said. “He has very good vision and he’s able to stick his foot in the ground and transition into a different direction.”

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
According to Rookie Scouting Portfolio author Matt Waldman, Atlanta's brass has compared Freeman to Ahmad Bradshaw, and they believe the rookie from FSU can become a starter. They expect him to see significant playing time as a rookie because of his third-down skills and explosiveness. Waldman reminded us that Jacquizz Rodgers' contract ends after this season, and Steven Jackson's is up in 2016. Waldman believes Freeman could be the starter as early as next year if his transition is quick and smooth.
