Santonio Holmes Ready To Move Forward... Really
(4/16 4:25 PT)

The Facts:
Following up on the ongoing story. ... Four months after Holmes imploded in the season finale against the Dolphins, the mercurial WR left no doubt that he doesn't have any regrets about how he handled himself late last season. "Why should I?" Holmes said when asked whether he had personal regrets for his behavior at the time. "I gave my statement after the game was over with and that was that. I left it at that. That's why you guys didn't have anything to talk about this offseason. You didn't have anything to say to Santonio Holmes because I answered the questions correctly and I left it where it was at. It happened down in Miami. And that's where it's going to stay. Down in Miami." Reported by the New York Daily News

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
As Daily News staffer Manish Mehta reminded readers, Holmes bickered with teammates on the field before then-OC Brian Schottenheimer benched Holmes for the final few minutes as the Jet's comeback attempt fell short. Teammates told Mehta after the season that Holmes was a "cancer" in the locker room and that dealing with him was like "dealing with a 10-year-old." Three weeks ago, Holmes told Mehta in Orlando that he "didn't care" that he has been portrayed as the villain by fans that believe he was at the heart of the team's locker room discord last season. "That happened in the 2011-2012 season," Holmes said on Monday. "We're worried about the 2012 season. And if' you're not concerned with that, we don't have anything else to talk about. ..." Good luck with that.
