Rams GM Says Multiple Teams Have Inquired About No. 2 Pick
(3/1 10:19 PT)

The Facts:
GM Les Snead said Thursday the Rams have been approached by multiple teams interested in acquiring the No. 2 overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft. "I won't give a number ... but I will say this: We've been approached by multiple teams, and some of them are obvious and some of them are not so obvious, until you sit down and analyze their situation and understand where they're coming from," Snead said on ESPN Radio when asked how many teams he had spoken with about a trade. Reported by NFL.com

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
According to NFL Network insider Jason La Canfora, the Rams have every intention of moving the pick with Baylor quarterback Robert Griffin III the presumed target for teams looking to trade into the spot. Snead suggested Thursday that the Rams are set at QB with Sam Bradford, but they're open to drafting players at a number of positions, based on their numerous needs. ... The Washington Post reported Tuesday that the Redskins would be willing to trade two first-round selections and extra pieces for the chance to pick second overall. The St. Louis Post-Dispatch also reported Tuesday the Rams have held very preliminary discussions with the Browns (pick No. 4 overall), the Dolphins (No. 8) and the Redskins, in addition to a couple of other teams outside of the top 10.
