Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Vikings head athletic trainer Eric Sugarman is in daily contact with Peterson's therapist. "We set up an offseason schedule for him, so he'll be going back and forth between Houston and here," Spielman said. Spielman did not want to speculate on Peterson's recovery from a torn ACL suffered on Dec. 24 at Washington but said at the rate he's going, "he'll be extremely close to being ready," for the season. ... In case you missed it, the Vikings have assembled a regimented program for Peterson in hopes of having him ready for his stated goal of being ready for Week 1. That seems like a bit of a reach, but we'll obviously be following up throughout the offseason.
