Rice told PFT last month that he'll be a Raven in 2012, which means that, if the Ravens use the franchise tag, he'll likely sign it quickly and focus on getting ready for his fifth NFL season. Whatever the case, Rice, who led the NFL with 2,068 yards from scrimmage, continues to be the foundation for the offense and as such will get a significant raise whether he plays for the projected $7.7 million franchise tag or an even bigger long-term contract. ...
