Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
As PFT's Gregg Rosenthal points out, New England traditionally doesn't like to break the bank at running back (Corey Dillon an exception) and they drafted two running backs last year: Stevan Ridley and Shane Vereen. Green-Ellis is a rock solid player who led the Patriots in rushing the last two years and who's yet to fumble in his career. But, as Rosenthal notes, he's not a special talent that will attract huge dollars. That said, Rosenthal suggests Kansas City, where the Chiefs could use someone to pair with Jamaal Charles, looks like one possible fit -- one that might yield a greater payday than he might get in New England.
