Randy Moss Says He's Returning To NFL; Will Anybody Want Him?
(2/13 8:22 PT)

The Facts:
Moss retired from football in 2011. Few believed it would stick. And it’s apparently not going to stick. The man who once said he plays when he wants to play has announced via a Ustream.tv live video that he wants to play. “I just wanna go to a team and play some football,” Moss said in an appearance commemorating his 35th birthday. Reported by Profootballtalk.com

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
The immediate question is whether any of the 32 NFL teams will give him a chance. As PFT's Mike Florio suggests, Moss will have to prove that he can still run. If, and given that he’s 35 it could be a big if, Moss can run, Florio believes the Patriots could be the most obvious destination. The Patriots, Florio is told, still like him. As Peter King pointed out in August 2011, Moss made a surprise appearance at the home of owner Robert Kraft in the days after the passing of his wife, Myra Kraft. ... Meanwhile, since Moss was a free agent when he retired, he’s not under contract. He can sign immediately, with any team.
