The Facts:
Following up on the
ongoing story. ... Two weeks ago, Manning said that dramatic changes in the franchise made the team facility a difficult place for healing. And so Peyton apparently has decided to take a break. Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
As PFT's Mike Florio notes, the development, if accurate, indicates a couple of things. First, it bolsters the notion that Manning currently is less focused on his neck and more focused on his throwing. Second, it suggests that Manning feels more comfortable away from the team facility, which will serve only to increase speculation of an imminent divorce. Florio went on to notes that Manning may only engage in limited activities at the Colts facility. While failing his exit physical allows him to work out under the supervision of doctors and throw balls to trainers, he can't throw to players and he can't work directly with coaches.
