Andy Dalton Returns Thursday, As Expected
(1/5 8:26 PT)

The Facts:
Dalton was back in the locker room on Thursday morning and said he is ready to practice today. Dalton missed yesterday due to a bout of the flu. “I feel great. It was a tough day yesterday, but I feel a lot better than I did. I’ll be out there practicing and be ready to go,” Dalton said. “It was just a one-day thing. It was kind of out of nowhere. But I feel good now, so that’s a good thing.” Reported by the Cincinnati Enquirer

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Even though Dalton did miss a day, Enquire staffer Joe Reedy notes the one slight advantage is that the Bengals did face Houston four weeks ago. Dalton also did say that he was at the stadium yesterday and did what the trainers told him to do, which was a visit to the hospital. As far as making up for the missed day of practice, Dalton said that he can’t try to do too much and that it will be mostly the regular routine today. “I’ve watched the film and I know what’s going on,” he said. “Obviously I would’ve liked to have practiced yesterday, but it didn’t happen. I’ll go out there today.”
