As mentioned earlier, some information on the status of his left knee won't be known until the surgery is done, so it's not possible at this point to really narrow the recovery window down any further. Also, keep in mind that the surgery won't occur for at least a couple of weeks.
Wes Welker made it back from his ACL and MCL surgery in about seven months which is about as aggressive a timeline as can be hoped for. 2012 Fantasy owners may need to take a leap of faith when calling Peterson's name on draft day.
