The Facts:
HC Lovie Smith expects Forte to return this season from a sprained medial collateral ligament in his right knee. Smith says he “looked pretty good” on Monday, but he wouldn’t put a timetable on Forte’s return. Reported by the Associated Press

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Forte was injured in the first quarter of Sunday’s 10-3 loss to Kansas City and left the game. Chicago was already missing quarterback Jay Cutler, who is out indefinitely with a broken right thumb. ... Again, we'll suggest the team's failure to reward Forte with the contract extension he desired is going to be a factor in his return -- wether anybody admits it or not. Marion Barber is the Fantasy prospect to grab if at all possible.
