Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Ponder didn't miss any snaps after suffering the hip pointer, which is a bruise created by a direct blow on the hip bone. But the injury "did inhibit some of his movement," HC Leslie Frazier acknowledged on Monday, saying the Vikings will see how their rookie quarterback progresses as they prepare for Sunday's game at Detroit. Frazier said it's likely Ponder will be limited in practice when the Vikings begin preparations for the Detroit game on Wednesday. If Ponder can't play against the Lions, second-year pro Joe Webb would start with veteran Sage Rosenfels backing him up.
