With rookies Cam Newton, Andy Dalton and Jake Locker all looking far more advanced than Gabbert so far, the Jaguars have to feel like they have gotten the short straw of the rookie quarterback class. Still, they likely also realize Gabbert may have the weakest receiving group in the NFL and they are willing to give him more time to adjust.
