After the 49ers extended their lead over the Cardinals to 23-0, Gore did not return to the action. He finished the game with 88 yards rushing on 24 attempts. Third-string running back Anthony Dixon saw his most play time of the season with 32 yards on seven carries. "It's smart," Gore said. "We play Thursday. It'll be a tough game. The other backs did a great job when they got in and got some reps. We'll be fine. I know coach is going to be great with us on a short week. ..." The 49ers play the Ravens on Thursday this week.
