The Redskins announced placement of Tim Hightower and Chris Cooley on injured reserve Tuesday afternoon.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Hightower suffered a torn ACL in Sunday's loss to the Panthers. Ryan Torain and Roy Helu will take over the running back duties -- with Torain the likely starter. Meanwhile, the end of Cooley's season is a bit more surprising. The veteran TE underwent finger surgery last week but hoped to return later this year. He also has knee issues, however. With Cooley's season over, Fred Davis' value continues to rise.
