Manning could begin jogging this week, according to Colts president Bill Polian.

Polian, who was a guest on SI.com insider Peter King's podcast Tuesday also said Manning still could practice or play before this season is over. Polian also said he and Manning have talked about plans for next season and beyond. Given the team's current state of affairs, let's hope the focus was more on the next season and beyond that on the practicing and playing this year. Let's also hope the decision to place Kerry Collins on injured reserve is totally unrelated to Manning and Polian's discussions.
