Glazer said on Twitter that Garrard told him that an MRI showed herniation of the L4-L5 area and that he has been in pain since training camp. That area is the lower region of the back where about 90 percent of all disc herniations occur. This removes Garrard from consideration by the Raiders at this time and we wonder if the Dolphins were aware of this issue when they spoke to him.
