on today's big news. ... The NFLPA issued the following statement on the stay granted by the 8th Circuit Court: "The NFL's request for a stay of the lockout that was granted today means no football. The players are in mediation and are working to try to save the 2011 season. The court will hear the full appeal on June 3."

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
The good news, of course, lies in the reports suggesting the two sides are making progress in the currently ongoing mediated talks. The court-ordered negotiations are scheduled to run through at least tomorrow. It will be interesting to see today's ruling leads to a more flexibility and willingness to entertain whatever offer the owners can come up with. Stay tuned.
