The Facts:
The Dolphins grabbed a second round pick (Daniel Thomas) to fill their need at running back, but they still would like to add a veteran free agent. (Carolina free-agent to be) DeAngelo Williams hopes it’s him. G.M. Jeff Ireland says not to rule out bringing back a familiar name. “I wouldn’t look into Ronnie [Brown's] or Ricky [Williams’] future around here as being over. I wouldn’t do that,” G.M. Jeff Ireland said.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Jeff Darlington of the Miami Herald says the team prefers Brown, but thinks a return is unlikely. Brown may believe that the team kept him off the field late in the season to prevent him from reaching a contract incentive. In the meantime, we'll all have to wait for the lockout to be lifted (or until a new CBA is reached) before we find out what's really going to happen. But if we had to bet now, we'd bet on the Dolphins having a different backfield this season than they did last year.
