The Facts:
Just in case you didn’t believe Mike Brown the first few time he publicly addressed Palmer’s trade request, the Bengals owner said once again Monday night that he doesn’t plan to trade his QB .“I want him back,” Brown said Monday via Joe Reedy of the Cincinnati Enquirer. “I haven’t talked to any other team about him. I have no plans to trade him.”

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
As previously noted, the Dolphins might be among the team interested in Palmer. Other teams could certainly use a QB and Palmer would provide an upgrade for any number of them. But Brown says there is no one of equal value to Palmer available on the market. “As far as getting value, I don’t see any opportunity to get what I consider to be value,” Brown said. “Having said that it doesn’t make sense to look to trade. It only makes sense to wait and hope Carson comes around.” As PFT summed up, even though it appears HC Marvin Lewis has accepted Palmer won’t play for the Bengals again, Brown, the man who calls the shots on personnel decisions, isn't ready to go there.
