Barber was detained by LAPD officers in front of a Beverly Hills hotel this morning for allegedly “disturbing the peace.”

Police came when SLS Hotel security complained that Barber was being a disturbance. Barber was placed in a police vehicle in front of the hotel but was not arrested or cited. He did, however, agree to check out of the hotel. Per PFT's Michael David Smith, the most amusing note from this minor incident comes from Tim MacMahon of ESPNDallas.com, on Twitter. “Major factual error in TMZ story about Marion Barber,” MacMahon tweets. “Headline calls him ‘NFL star’.”
