Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Elway didn’t provide a date for the meeting, but did confirm that the Broncos have received permission to do so from Jacksonville. A longtime college coach before entering the pros in 2007, Koetter just wrapped up his fourth season running the Jaguars’ offense. Jacksonville has ranked better than 15th in the league in total yards once during Koetter’s tenure — his first season on the job. Koetter’s offenses in the last three years have finished 24th, 24th, and 18th in points scored. As PFT notes, Koetter joins a list of Denver HC candidates that includes Texans OC Rick Dennison, Broncos interim coach Eric Studesville, and Giants DC Perry Fewell.
