The Facts:
The Giants will go into their final regular season game without their leading receiver. Nicks has a broken big toe on his left foot and he won’t play in Sunday’s game against the Redskins at FedEx Field.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
That’s a huge loss for the Giants. Even if they somehow get into the playoffs – they need to beat the Redskins and have the Bears beat the Packers – it appears as if Nicks won’t be able to play in the postseason. A receiver can’t play if he can’t run and running with a broken big toe is impossible. Nicks was injured in the 45-17 loss to the Packers in Green Bay. Without him, Derek Hagan moves up into a starting role alongside Mario Manningham, thinning out the receiver position. Michael Clayton or Devin Thomas – players signed during the season – will fill the No. 3 receiver spot. Neither has caught a pass in limited action with the offense.
