Schaub missed practice today while undergoing treatment for a bursa sac injury in his knee.

Head coach Gary Kubiak said Schaub spent the day at a local hospitial. Kubiak said he expects Schaub back on the practice field Thursday, and if all goes according to plan, he will start against the Jets on Sunday. Bursitis happens when bursae, the fluid-filled sacs that lie between a tendon and skin, or between a tendon and bone, become inflamed. The condition is painful but tends to go away after a few weeks with propert treatment.
