On Sunday, Nedney booted a game-winning field goal in overtime while playing with a knee injury. He won’t get the chance to do it again this week against the Buccaneers. Reported by Profootballtalk.com

The 49ers’ PR director tweeted today that Nedney’s MRI revealed a right knee strain and a bone bruise, and he’s likely to sit out this week and be reevaluated next week. The 49ers are considering three kickers, Shane Andrus, Swayze Waters and Garrett Lindholm. ... Stay tuned. More when Nedney's replacement is determined.
