According to ESPN insider Adam Schefter, the Panthers strongly considering placing Williams on IR, as early as today.

Schefter went on to suggest the strained arch that Williams suffered last month might be too much to overcome this year. Assuming Schefter's report is true, it would certainly be safe to assume Williams won't be available this week. With Jonathan Stewart's (concussion) Week 11 status also unclear, Mike Goodson appears to be in line for more work this week.
