The Facts:
With Stafford suffering an injury to his throwing shoulder in the regular-season opener, the early word filtering out of the Detroit organization is that the team believes Stafford will miss two-to-three weeks, at a minimum.

And depending on the results of the MRI, PFT's Mike Florio reports the team fears that Stafford will miss up to four-to-six weeks. A source close to Stafford, however, tells Florio the team's concern are"all speculation at this point." X-rays were not taken at the game because the Lions had no access to a machine at Soldier Field. X-rays and an MRI will be performed in the morning. ... Stay tuned. We'll have more when test results are announced. In the meantime, Shaun Hill will fill in as necessary.
