The Facts:
With Stafford suffering an injury to his throwing shoulder in the regular-season opener, the early word filtering out of the Detroit organization is that the team believes Stafford will miss two-to-three weeks, at a minimum.

And depending on the results of the MRI, PFT's Mike Florio reports the team fears that Stafford will miss up to four-to-six weeks. A source close to Stafford, however, tells Florio the team's concern are"all speculation at this point." X-rays were not taken at the game because the Lions had no access to a machine at Soldier Field. X-rays and an MRI will be performed in the morning. ... Stay tuned.
