When Mark Clayton arrived in St. Louis (see previous item), someone had to go. The team decided to let go of 2008 fourth-round pick Keenan Burton, surprisingly choosing to retain Dominique Curry over him.

As PFT suggests, the decision to keep Curry was likely driven by special teams. Not that Burton's 38 catches in two seasons aren't replaceable.
